Time for a change

Well, I have to admit ... The day started very beautiful.  To bad it ended so ugly.  I used to look out my front door and see what my dreams had created.

A Community Chicken Coop for everyone to use free of charge.  Brought about by My hard work with help from only two other people.  My Mom and our Extention agent.  Now I see this....

Nothing but an empty space where my dream used to be.  You see Adults got into the act and now they have decided that the coop needed to move to their house.  After two years of caring for those birds and doing chores with no one else but me, they came loaded it up and with out a word they just took it.  No thank yous. No nothing.  They have never even come to the coop but twice in the two years it was here and even then they didn't do anything.  They just came to walk in see the birds and leave.  Now they have come and just taken it.
I was the one out at all hours of the night after the storm.  I was the one who picked up all the peices and put it all back together.  Not the club ... ME.  They never even showed to help do chores not even once.  I guess this is what is meant by dreams die ... No they don't... other people kill them.  It is no long about what is best for anyone ... It is about someone else wanting something and just plain out taking it.
Well, enough about it ... It is done and so the change begins.  What will that spot become now???  Mom says maybe a fiber studio ....

Unfortunately, these things happen in life. I'm so sorry RJ. You cared for those birds so well and it was a wonderful dream. I hope more and more beautiful dreams will come true for you.

UGH. The only good part is knowing that YOU did all the RIGHT things. I know you will see that area of you property as an empty space for awhile....but soon you will see it as an opportunity instead. :) (Like your Mom already does.)
