Yesterday was suppose to be so great. All I could think about all morning was going to get my buckling. Mom had some running to do before we could go so that took up or morning and helped the time fly. By Noon we were on the road to Manhattan Ks where we were to meet up with Cherie and Ken Olsen, owners of http://angorahouse.com the Little Angora House on the Prairie. On our way we saw some cool sites.
This little girl was along the road and she had a fawn with her but it didn't stick around for a photo like Mom did.
Cherie and Ken Olsen have a great little herd. Their Male is huge and I pray some day my Angoras look as good as hers. Check out her Males Horns.
They don't handle the goats like I do so they are really wild and Phinny was even still sucking him Mom from time to time. When we got home we unloaded him and he was kind of scared and stayed away form everything and everyone.
On the bad side, when we got home we found that because we came in after dark and hadn't been home to close everything up the Raccoon had struck in the Community Coop. We lost almost half the little girls to him and he just left them after killing them. It was a bloodbath as Mom says. So tonight I am going Coon Hunting at the barn yard. I put up all the cats and secured all the chickens. I even moved the ones from the community coop to the show pen.
Now Me and my trusty shotgun are going to guard the show pen and I set up the trap at the community coop
Tonight, I pray this will end one way or the other.... I have had enough killing!
