So I had been checking Libby all day and NOTHING! Then I leave to go to my 4-H Meeting and Mom calls us to turn around because we are having a calf. Oh Man, We turned the truck around and Mom headed to meet me half way. Billy went on to the meeting and I headed to the stall just as fast as I could possibly get there. It was great. Her calf is so cute and Mom called Ms. Karen too so she hurried right on out as well. Even though Libby is Red she gave birth to a strapping black and white little heifer. She is Black and has a bit of white on her face and just under her chest. I wish you guys had been here. After years of taking care of everyone else's babies our first was born on this farm today. I am guessing you guys want me to stop typing and post pictures huh? Well, you got it ... With out further adieu The Straw Farm is Very, Very Proud to present ... Cherokee!! And I thought Yesterday was Awsome? I thank the good Lord that the Awsomeness doesn't stop ....
