Skittles ... Gave us a huge rainbow ...

3/9/2013

Well, today there is good news and bad news ... First the good news!  Skittles had our biggest Baby Boy yet ... He came in at or should I say came out at a whooping 13lbs 7 oz.  Say hello to ... Rerun

This is him next to Chickasaw and Quapaw who are a week old ... but they are southdowns!

Isn't he cute? And just look at that fleece!!!
Now for the bad news ... Okay there are two things really ... First of the bad news is that tonight we lose an hour of sleep.  This normally isn't such a bad thing.  More of an inconvience then anything else but this year during lambing season I would rather not lose that sleep at all.  The second part of the bad news is that with Skittles giving birth that brings the cotswold lambing season to an end.  With the Southdowns ending yesterday, the only lambing we have left is Piper and Poppy.
Maybe we can pray that this year there will be a few Kids as well ... Who knows ... Time is springing, lambs are springing.  Everything is springing why not kids (baby goats that is) too??
