So in Steps Ms. Karen. Ms. Karen is not only a QT but she is Mom's best friend. She is also going to go and try and do the buying of the shetland ewe. Now let me just say that she has never bought lambs before (or any livestock) and today she came to the house for a lamb lesson. After she watched me rope and she checked out all the animals at the barn, played with the sheep in the kitchen and the ducks in the bathroom, we got down to business. We covered everything from droopy ears to dirty butts while chowing down on Pizza. We even got her set up with two extra bottles of milk so that if she has to keep them very long she can feed them. We had alot of fun and she even saw the stitch markers I made and the stuff Ms. Jenny from Scotland sent. She loved it and thought it was really cool too.
Anyway, if all goes well, Ms. Karen and the lambie baby buying spree will be a great success. (Oh by the way Mom had another accident and ended up buying three more ducks from the local farm store ... she said something about they were black ones and we didn't have any black ones and they were little and cute and blah, blah, blah) Well, I will keep you posted ...
