Today I had some things I really wanted to share with everyone... First I got mail ... Well, there was this artist and she was trying to make a bit of money so I bought this to support her... And I wanted to show you the new bags Mom will be making for the shop ... Sheep mostly but the bottem one is my favorite. There are other animals on it that is just one square ... So that was the Blog I was going to write ... The true blog however isn't so happy ... We lost Ponca today and Cheyenne is still with us but not eating right. Sage isn't drinking enough and her milk still hasn't come in. The Vet has told us we are doing everything right that we can think of but with the conditions of their birth and Sage's issues it just might not be enough to save them all. The Vet says that due to the Hypothermia and them trying to drink water from the bucket intended for Sage that they may have made their condition worse. We can't take the water away from Sage but there is no way to keep the babies from trying to drink ... Anyway, It is a mess in our eyes that we have failed to sort out. And we love our Vet but sometimes he tells us thing that we don't want to hear. We are praying and keeping watch through the night again tonight but we really are at a lose as to how this will turn out ... RIP Little Ponca ... We Love you ...

Isn't it funny how some thing go so amazingly right and you have an overabundnce of blessing (the triplets and quads) and then, in basically the same place and time and resources nothing at all seems to go right and even though you do all you can do (all anyone could have done), your just helpless to stop it..... Mother Nature can be a fey lady sometimes, and she always seems to get her way - and it never gets easier to accept, does it? I hope when we face out first lambing this spring that we can learn to take the bad with the good and keep going like you and your family do, it helps to read your blog. Thanks for writing it.

I'm very sorry to read about Ponca. I know it is very hard losing one. It sounds like you are doing everything you can to keep the new babies warm and dry. Some of ours had to be bottle fed when their moms didn't know what to do with three. We had some sort of powdered lamb milk that we mixed up and fed them by hand. At first they were not impressed, but you just had to be persistent with them and eventually they figured it out. Keep up the good work!

I love the fabric your mom has picked out. My favorite is the green checked with the sheep! Will the bags be sold on this website?
