Not as I had planned

7/2/2011

Today went nothing like I had planned.  Mrs. Purlsandknits helped me work my sheep and goat this morning and even told me they needed to be on a diet.  Then I was suppose to be getting ready for the 4th of July cookout and roping we do every year but instead my Dad's cousin ended up with a broken foot (surgery and pins and plates kind of broke) and hay to haul in.  Well, Family being what it is to us, we went and hauled hay most the day.  This evening we headed to Oh Dang Farm and got some more fleece.  I am planning a 4-H Fleece workshop and I got one for Mrs. Purlsandknits, Mom and me to play with.  I kind of like learning this stuff...I will post pictures tomorrow I am off to bed because I have to go help finish the hay hauling job tomorrow morning ... Then cookout, rope and fireworkers .... YYYAAAAHHHHH!

Yikes. Hubby broke and dislocated his ankly a couple of years ago (13 pins and a plate!). He still struggles with it....So glad you were there to help with the haying so he can concentrate on healing.
