Anyway, the feed pans are by the chicks that they have for sale for Chick Days. She knew I didn't need anymore chicks but she called me anyway. She was carrying on about how cute they all were and how she would take them all home if she could. I told her I had some hatching so I didn't need any just the milk for the lambs. She said okay and got off the phone.
When Mom got to the house she came in the front door and told us she had a little accident at Orschelns. Dad asked if she was okay and how bad the car was. Mom started laughing and said both her and the car were fine but that she accidently bought Ducks with the Lamb's Milk. Let me tell you ... Dad was not amused. I don't know if you remember me telling you about my Dad when I started my Blog but for the record he is a grumpy old man with no sense of humor. Don't be confussed ... I love my Dad but that is just the way he is. Always has been and always will be.
I wanted to die laughing but I knew if I even cracked a smile Dad would have lost it. Mom gets away with stuff I would never pull on Dad but if I laugh before Mom, Dad gives me the evil eye and then starts saying things like: "Don't you have school work to do?" or "Is your room Clean?" So I just stood back and asked Mom "what kind?" She handed me the box and told me to put them in the bathroom with the chicks. I just did as I was told. Then I started giggling when I got the bathroom. I have to admit they are cute and Mom let me put them in the tub for a swim tonight after She got home from work.
