On what day do French Parents exchange presents?
Today I got more mail then anyone in the whole house... Okay so I got two packages and Dad got a letter. My two packages are really cool. The first one was my stuff from the printers. Everything turned out good. The second was from Kristen and it was a Christmas Swap box. I loved it. She sent my favorite food in the whole world. Maple syrup! And not the store bought kind. I am talking the cream of the crop as we call it. My Grandmother lives in Upstate NY and until she got forgetful she used to send us a gallon of real Maple syrup every year for Christmas. The gentleman would pack it special for us and cut her a deal... Then we would use it Chrismas Morning on our Pancakes and then Mom would use the rest through out the year to flavor our home made syrup so that the good stuff would last a long time. Anyway, I used the syrup this morning and then Mom made me a batch of my kind of syrup just like old times. It was really great and I don't know if Kristen will know it or not but I love that gift. She also made me a hat and sent some Goat's milk carmel. I am one happy camper... Check it out.... Then Mom tried to steal my Hat... She said something about it being payment for making my waffles and syrup ... I told her NO WAY! Waffles with real syrup ... The perfect cold morning breakfast ... Thank you Kristen for a Perfect gift and a perfect breakfast and a perfect morning..... Christmas Question #4

What a great hat -- perfect colors for you. (Sorry, Mom, I know the colors look good on you, too.) And I know the taste of REAL maple syrup. A lovely swap you got. Nice that you will enjoy it for many months.

Thanks everyone I think it was fun to do but the waiting about killed me. Anyway, the answer to the christmas question is New Years Day.... LOL I'm so glad you like everything RJ! And that the hat fits, it's the first knitting I've done in ages. It's handspun yarn too. I'll have to send you some more maple syrup since you love it so much. I wasn't really sure about that...it's the grade B, and it's made up the road from me at my sheep farmer friend John's farm. enjoy! Comments are closed.
