Has anyone noticed that there is something about Holiday Groceries that just make it more fun to shop. Okay maybe not fun but special. Today Mom let me go with her to do the holiday Grocery Shopping. Normally I don't go to the grocery store with her, she just calls and asks if Dad and I want to add anything to the list. But Holiday shopping is different. We sit down and make a list and set a date. Then I get to go with Mom to get everything. It is kind of wierd how something that is done all the time can turn into an event and even a tradition this time of year. What do you do that is normal but at the holidays seem so special?? I want to hear about it.

Hi, RJ! I haven't commented much at all lately, but I have been checking your blog trying to keep up with happenings at the Straw Farm. It sounds as if you are all ready for Christmas. I agree with you about how ordinary things somehow seem special at this time of year. Unfortunately, as you get older, Christmas seems to lose some of the excitement you experience when you are younger, but I try to remember how I felt about Christmas when I was a kid and try to revive some of that wonderful holiday feeling. I'd like to wish you, your mother, your father, your sister and all of the animals a blessed Christmas and a healthy and happy 2012.

Hello Ms. Adelaide! I have missed you. Mom and I have noticed that there are over 200 readers and not to many comments but that is okay with me. I will keep blogging as long as there are people who read it. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. I pray you get all the blessing your heart can hold.... Comments are closed.
