Getting ready to hay ....

7/6/2013

Today Mom worked while Dad and I started to get things ready for haying.  Dad saves all his vacation time and uses it this month do that he can get the haying done.  We have a 9 foot New Holland Sickle mower, a 4 wheel Vicon rake and a international 440 square baler all run with a Massey Furgison 165 Tractor.  All four Items have to be greased up and serviced in order to get ready for haying season.  Tomorrow I will post a detailed account of servicing and getting things ready for haying season ... For today you will have to survive on photos of Storm and Sedan romping in the pasture ... remember Sedan is about 16 years old and he has been sore for years but now he is happy and strong and pain free.  He actually played in the pasture for the first time in a very long time ... Mom is joyed to tears ...

I have to admit Mom's rescues do give you a special feeling when they are healthy enough to just be the animal they are meant to be.  Seeing Angel and Sedan improve over time has been an awesome sight that gives us an amazing feeling.
