Yesterday was a long day. First I worked the sale barn and sold two of my bigger calves. They sold pretty good and if I can sell one more that well I will own 2 calves from the first stocker Note I did with the USDA. Mom says I have done really good but to tell the truth Mom is the one teaching me what to do, when to buy and when to sell. She did it for years but she did it on the banks money and the USDA is cheaper because I am a kid. Anyway, After I got done at the sale barn Dad and I came home to get the spraying done.
We worked on getting the cattle half of the pasture sprayed with the brush killer but fell short on daylight so we had to wait for the dew to raise this morning and we were back at it. We are now finished with everything to do with this year's spraying.

The animals were not real happy with having to be back in the pen for the day but it is better safe then to have them get into the spraying.
Tomorrow morning bright and early Mom is taking a Fecal Sample to the Vet Techs to see if they can figure anything out with Petunia. She is doing great just going bald.
Now just to keep everyone updated for the next few weeks we will being getting ready for something for one thing or another. First on June 14th I will be going to my 4-H State competition. Then on July 1st, we will be having our big 4th of July celebration. Then on July 27th and 28th I will be at my very first fiber festival. From here on out Mom's days off will be spent getting things together and under control for any one of these events.
