Fleece Police ... Calling all spinners ...

6/2/2013

So most of the day was spent watching B'day the cow.  We have finally given up and turned her back out to pasture because we think it was a false alarm.  We will be watching both her and Libby until they both give birth.  Which should be later this month.  The rest of my time was spent lining out and filling spots for the Mystery Sheep Research Project.  We still have a few spots left at the beginner level so don't be shy.  We are not interesting in how well you spin but how well our wool spins for you.
So with that in mind I want to tease everyone a little bit.  We want to encourage others to take part by getting in on the questioning of the spinners on our Ravelry group.  To do that we are going to give you a small taste of what the spinners will get to play with.  Check this out ...

This is a lock that Mom just ran under hot water and then rolled in a towel to dry.

This is the Batt .... To top off this tease watch this little clip.  Please know that this was done with the camera and isn't very good but it will get you a good idea!!
Just so you know each spinner will get 2 oz ... Not alot???  Well, we think it will be enough and here is why!! (Yup, that is a 2 liter bottle sitting beside it)

I am sorry but this fleece is not available to the public. It will only be available to those doing the research project and everyone doing the project will get the same amount Prepared the exact same way.

You can't show spinners long, curly locks like that and not expect us to want it just the way it is! LOL I don't even care whether it's soft or not ... can't wait to get my hands on it.
