Well. today after work I came home and worked on the fence so that "Whitie" can be put back out on the pasture. . I also had the idea that Joseph needed to be in the pasture too and make new friends. I thought he had been in his pen long enough and would like the room to run. That is about as normal as my story is going to be today because from there it was an epic Fail...
We started with Joseph and from there on out everything went wrong. Joseph is a Gelded Donkey meaning he is Neutered. When we turned him out with Angel in the pasture he showed all the signs of being a stud. So my next step was to take Angel away and see if he calmed down. Sometimes when this are fixed after a year of age they take longer to calm down around the ladies. With that in mind we put Angel in a stall that is when Joseph went crazy and started throwing a temper tantrum ... Including bucking, kicking and trying to hurt the baby calves.
That is when we put Joseph back up. We did turn "Whitie" out into the pasture and if she stays in then we will know I did a good job on the fence. As for Joseph I am talking with Mom and we might have to find him a new home. One without any mares at it. There was another good thing that happened today. LOT CAME HOME!!! Tomorrow I will post about all the places he went and what he did....
