Today was a busy day of getting back on track and getting things done after being gone for 3 days. I had my school work to do and Dad fixed fence while Mom went to work. Then when Mom got home she went to cleaning every stall we have and getting ready for winter. The good news is that we have seen the bottle jaw go down and in most cases go away in all the goats. At this time we are pretty sure we have the worm problem under control now. And thanks to a new suppliment we are using, the goats are getting their Red Blood Cell count back up. That means healthy goats from here on out. Anyway, Mom cleaned the goat and sheep shed, the calf shed and all three of the horse stalls. She says she will do the show pen and chicken coop tomorrow followed by the barn, equipment pen, tack room and well house. Then she says next weekend Dad and I get to cut wood for two days straight to get ready for winter. I don't think she is playing. She has been after Me and Dad to cut wood all summer and we have been putting it off. I guess if we want heat we better get it done. Oh and just so you all know I think Mom wants another St. Bernard. I heard her tell Dad that the house is just to quiet without Rebel. I know she misses him.
