- Wendie could be needing more protein in her diet to produce enough milk for Sorghum. We are now Supplimenting her with feed to see if that helps.
- Jorden is in the same pasture and he could have gone to stealing Wendie's milk from Sorghum. With them now penned that can't happen anymore.
- Wendie and Sorghum could be wormie. I will be calling Doc in the morning to see what I can give her while she is still nursing Sorghum and how much is a safe dose.
Well, today was the day we went home. The actual trip home was no big deal. What we found when we got home was kind of a huge deal. First, Sorghum and Wendy are on the watch list. They are penned up and I will be calling Doc in the morning. Wendy seems to be dry and Sorghum seems to be hungry. I grabbed Sorghum and got about a quarter of a bottle down him. Then we penned Wendy, Hope and Sorghum up and fed them. Hope looks great so does Charlie and Jorden so one of three things could be happening here.
With all that done I think I have any issues that it could be under control but we will see what Doc says in the morning. The next item is this beauty that I found under our house when we got home. It took me a few lessons from Mom and a bit of time to catch him.
After losing Duke for no reason that I could find I told Mom that I didn't want another cat .... EVER .... I told her it just didn't seem to be in the cards for me. Well, I guess God has a different plan. I think if God sent it to me he wants me to have this cat so I named him Sunny and I am keeping him. Mom was calling him sunshine to get him to come out from under the house and that finally worked so I decided he should be called Sunny. He was hissing and spitting the whole time we worked to get him out from under the house. Finally I got him and he kind of clawed me, then Mom got ahold of him and calmed him down. We took him in the Bathroom, gave him a nice kennel to hide in with a nice bed in it, Fed, watered and got him a potty pan. Mom says he will stay there for a week. Until we get back from the Christmas in July Fiber Festival. By then he will be used to us and we will be used to having a kitten around again. I really like the fact that he wants to snuggle and play with me ...
How can anybody dump this face with no where to go?
And the last thing I came home to was a good mail day ... First, I got a card from Heaven's Joy.... She wanted to thank me for her winning the drawing. Well, I didn't let her win the Random.org number picker did that for me, but I loved the note she wrote me and I am very happy to Report that Lot's Twin is now named RJ and she loved all the extras we put in with the yarn. The sheep tape measure is now loved as well. There was one other thing in the mail that I am very proud of.... Take a look at this ...
Mom already put it and the action shot that won me my buckle in frames and she has on the end table.
Tomorrow we will be spending the day getting ready for Kellyville Fiber Festival ... It starts Friday ... and yup I have a booth again this year ... So if you are in the area stop by and check us out ...
