Circling the wagons as they say ...

12/3/2011

So there is this storm coming and this week we are suppose to start weather that is colder and winterier then it has been.  Add that to everything that has happened this week and Mom has put her foot down and decided she wants everything we own home so that we can care for it.
With it being Saturday it was easy to go work the sale barn and bring Angel home.  I was so happy to see her.  She looks better already and she is so bright eyed and he head is up like it should be and Well, she is just better all around ...

I am not saying she isn't still thin because she is and she still looks like she needs to grow into her head but Look at the pride she has now.  She stands tall and knows her life is worth something.  I can't wait to get to ride her.  I know it is a long time off but I will wait and when I do get to ride her ... Well, I don't know what will happen but right now I know I will feel it in my heart... She really is an Angel ... She took the halter like it was nothing new and she only took three tries to load into the trailer.  Even our horses sometimes take that long to load and they haven't known half the troubles Angel has.
With all that said Libby and B'day were also brought home today.

With any luck both Libby and B'Day are bred and if so we will have our first two baby calfs on the place sometime in Aug. of 2012.  I even know what B'Day's first calf will be named ... Cherokee...

Now for some fun ... Mom is so into Christmas and she has a ton of Trivia Questions about it So I have decided to ask on each day.  I hope someone knows the answer besides Mom.  There is no winners this is just for fun...

What Saint Brought Christmas to Ireland in the 15th Century??

I'm glad to see your animals are home safe and sound! Angel is beautiful, and I'm looking forward to watching her flourish under your care!
