And then there was Hope ...

5/9/2012

I want to thank everyone who has Blind Faith in me.  Last night when I posted about the Females that we had found I didn't get a chance to post any of the good stuff about them.  Well, for those that took a chance here it goes.  First, there is Wendie.

Wendie had a Cria about 3 weeks ago and this is it.  His name is Jordan ....

Jordan has such an awsome fleece that we might consider keeping him as Juneau's back up ....

And just when you think we are done ... there is always Hope.

The one thing I want to point out is that Hope is already bred.  That means when the fun of Lambing and Kidding season has given way to hay season and work is winding down for the fall ... We will have Cria Birthing season .... The only down side to all this is that we have to wait to bring them all home.  Ms. Karen and Alpaca Dave have been in this business for a long time now and when they put a product out there they guarentee it like no one's business.  For that reason, now that we have bought the Ladies,  Wendie will be bred this week and we will have to wait until two months after she shows the first signs of being bred.  Remember if it doesn't take we have another try and then replacements if it fails the second time.  Truely I don't want it to fail at all so as much as I hate waiting ... You and I both will have to wait.  I am Thankful that Ms. Karen and Alpaca Dave take such good care of us ... It helps insure that our herd will grow.

They're beautiful, RJ! Thanks for the photos. The faith we have in you is not blind, we can all see how hard you work and know that you'll be a huge success in life. Kiss the critters for me.
