Almost there

7/25/2013

So today I spent getting the last tid bits as Mom calls them ready for the Fiber Booth.  I had to take down the "wall of yarn" that was in the dinning room and label the last of the dyed Yarn.  Then I had to get everything done for Sunny.  That means I had to change the cat box and make sure he had food and water.  Dad said I had to take care of him or he would turn him out while I was gone.  He is to little to be out by himself so I did everything and all Dad has to do is feed him his wet food once a day.  Then Mom and I got the laundry done so we would have something to wear.  (I don't think they would let us sell at the booth in the buff ... LOL)
With everything undercontrol for the most part I sat down to figure out a thing or two about this Dying yarn Business.  First, I had to figure out how I was going to market my "set" of yarn.  Do you remember this picture???

Look at the colors in that sun ... I tried to recreate it in this ...

I think we did a really good job of it too.  Now I have to figure out if I should sell it as a "set" or singles.  Since I don't have time to dye more I only have one of each color.  I am thinking I will leave it as a set.  It is a first and if it doesn't sell at Kellyville I think I will have Mom list it on Etsy... I tried to find others that made "Sets of Yarn" but had no luck ... Surely I am not the first to think of this, am I?
Anyway, I am off to finish packing the truck as much a possible for tomorrow.  I am even taking a dog to it's new home on this trip... Can you believe that Mom is making this trip into work too???  Just kidding Kate, we are happy to do it .... Your new Pup will be there in no time ...
